THEIR LOVE STORY

Amanda & Nick met 8 years ago as freshmen at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Amanda describes Nick as a very creative, thoughtful man. Their proposal was definitely very thoughtful and very creative! Nick told Amanda that they would be going on a double-date downtown with one of his friends and a co-worker, however she had no idea that this was just a cover for a big surprise! While they were walking to the restaurant, they stopped by the riverwalk and Nick got down on one knee and proposed! She said YES! But the surprise didn’t end there…

Nick suggested heading back to a hotel so that they could tell everyone the great news! When they arrived, they didn’t have to call anybody since the whole family was in on Amanda’s surprise. When they opened the door, all of their close friends and family were waiting to celebrate with them! Nick perfectly orchestrated the evening and it was a dream proposal.

He suggested going back to the hotel to call our families, only to go upstairs and find our families and close friends. It was perfectly orchestrated and a dream proposal. Check out our beautiful bride’s photos:

THE DRESS

This breathtaking lace A-line gown from Essense of Australia is completely vintage, unique and romantic. The organic V-neckline of this wedding dress is highlighted with slight cap sleeves, adding a touch of coverage. The bodice of this gown features layered lace, giving it a stunning botanical feeling. This, mixed with the laser-cut organza, gives rich dimension to this style. The botanical lace continues down through the tulle and Regency organza skirt, giving the look of bold florals which adds texture to the gown. The back of this wedding dress features a keyhole back, surrounded by organic lace detailing. Fabric-covered buttons run down the middle of the keyhole, adding a touch of sophistication. The back of this lace wedding dress zips up beneath fabric-covered buttons

TRUE LOVE

THE BRIDAL PARTY

Amanda’s bridal party is looking stylish in mixed Bill Levkoff styles. The men’s suits perfectly complement the wine color!

FROM OUR BRIDE

So I am the bride that tried on over 75 dresses before finding “The One”. HCTB was actually my first bridal appointment ever. I was so nervous and had no idea what I wanted, but the ladies there made the experience so much fun. I went to 6 other stores before returning to HCTB. After trying on so many dresses, I had a completely different vision and knew I needed to go back to HCTB again and see what dresses they had to match the new vision. That night, I fell in love with the last dress I tried on, that actually came into the store that morning and I was the first one to try it on. It was perfect. It was a relief for me to have that major decision made. From there, the dress came in ahead of schedule and I ended up purchasing my belt and headpiece from the store as well. I also took advantage of the bridesmaid discount and had all of my girls buy Bill Levkoff dresses from HCTB. And lastly, I had my alterations done at HCTB as well. She did an amazing job! The dress fit like a glove. All in all, I would give HCTB a 10/10 and ever since I visited the store in January, I have been telling everyone I know that they NEED to go there. It’s a must. I have never been to a store that I found so many I wanted to try on just walking through the racks. HCTB has the best selection and the best service. I am so thankful for my experience there.
