Amy & Brandon

Amy & Brandon met through a mutual friend shortly after college. They dated for several months until Brandon relocated for work, causing them to momentarily lose touch.

Seven years later, Brandon moved back to Chicago. Without prior knowledge, both Amy & Brandon signed up for the same softball league! On the first game, they crossed paths once again. After a flirtatious encounter, Brandon asked Amy out on a date. It is no doubt that these two were meant to be together!

Brandon had sneakily planned out a beautiful engagement for Amy. He decorated their apartment with balloons, rose petals, streamers, pictures, and ring pops. How thoughtful! He also hid the photographers from Amy, who had no clue that her life was about to change.

When she arrived home, in attempt to distract her from what was about to happen, Amy’s parents made a fake real estate call while a friend assisted by holding the door.

Brandon then popped the question and the photographers recorded the proposal.

SHE SAID YES!!!

But wait...there's more!

After composing themselves and calling a ton of friends and family, Brandon and Amy went with their families to Lottie's Bar, Amy's favorite KU bar. Amy’s friend set up a section for them to sit and watch the game and celebrate and when they arrived, many of their other friends were congregated in that section ready to congratulate and celebrate with them. Amy had a smile pasted across her face as she was still red from the first surprise.

Hold on...there's still more? You gotta be kidding me!

As Amy stood there hugging friends, a circle formed around her and two people came upstairs from the basement with a bottle of champagne. Tracy and Amanda, two of Amy's closest friends from college had flown in from Minneapolis and Dallas and worked with Brandon to surprise their friend on her big day. What a special and memorable proposal!

Amy looked absolutely stunning in her MoriLee gown, “Marissa”. This organza ballgown features a flounced skirt with horsehair trim.

My dress shopping experience was fantastic. I worked with Diane and she was amazing. She let me try on any and all styles I wanted to and gave her opinion on what would work best for my body. She was a doll and I am SO incredibly happy with my dress!
