We accommodate a variety of bridal budgets! Our made-to-order gowns start at $1,250 at our Glendale Heights location, and $2,000 at our Barrington location. The majority of our collections range between $1,500–$2,500, with select luxury and custom couture designers ranging from $3,500–$7,000. (Shopping under $1,250? We urge our brides to purchase their wedding dresses 9 to 12 months before their wedding date. This will ensure that you have four to six weeks for alterations. At Here Comes the Bride, our dresses are made to order and it takes approximately 5-8 months for orders to arrive. Alterations may be necessary, which is why you will need a few months to plan accordingly.

Absolutely! While most of our made-to-order gowns take 5–8 months, we have some designers with quick ship options and a beautiful selection of designer sample gowns available to purchase off-the-rack. This means no ordering is necessary—you can take your dream dress home the exact same day.

Yes! This is a big moment, and we encourage you to bring your most supportive loved ones. To ensure you have an intimate and comfortable experience, we recommend keeping your party to 4 guests or fewer for standard appointments.Have a larger entourage? We highly recommend booking a VIP Appointment for groups of 5 or more! For groups larger than 6, we recommend setting up a VIP appointment.

There are a few steps to take to ensure your appointment will have the most successful outcome. We recommend wearing a strapless, comfortable bra and nude-colored undergarments. A consultant will be with you in the dressing room helping you in and out of the gowns. Make sure to wear something that you are comfortable in. You are also welcome to bring heels to give you a better idea of your completed look.

We believe every bride deserves to feel beautiful! Please keep in mind that bridal sizing runs differently (usually smaller) than everyday street wear. To accommodate our brides, we carry a curated selection of inclusive styles with in-store sample sizes ranging from 6 to 24. Your stylist will work with you to ensure a perfect fit, regardless of the number on the tag.

Yes! We offer expert, in-house bridal alterations by appointment only. On average, bridal alterations range between $550–$750, with customizations incurring additional fees.

We accept cash, check, all credit cards and also have Apple Pay for your convenience. There are no processing fees for using a credit card.

A Trunk Show is an exclusive, weekend-long event where we feature a specific designer’s newest, complete collection—including many gowns we don't normally carry in-store! If you have your heart set on a specific designer, a Trunk Show is the absolute best time to book your appointment.

Yes, absolutely! We want your bridal shopping experience to be a true celebration. You are more than welcome to bring champagne or other beverages for your party to enjoy. To help us protect our beautiful white gowns, we just kindly ask that you be mindful of spills.

Children are welcome, but we generally do not recommend bringing them. Bridal appointments are 90 minutes long, which can be tough on little ones! Additionally, our boutique is filled with delicate fabrics, heavy mirrors, and occasional loose pins. If you do choose to bring children, we kindly ask that they remain seated with an adult at all times to ensure their safety and keep the focus entirely on you finding your dream dress!
